From Zero Scenes to 27: How We Built Orion AI and Flow Studio

By Gabe ·

Orion AI on Galatic.ai: a guided chat on the left and a 27-scene music video timeline on the right.
Orion AI and Flow Studio, October 2026.

Two weeks ago, our music video runs were stalling at zero scenes. On October 2, a single run rendered 27 lip-synced scenes with zero failures. Orion AI is live on Galatic.ai, and this post is the honest version of how we got here: the screenshots of what broke, what we fixed, and a step-by-step guide so you can make one yourself.

Watch: the two-minute tour

Everything in the video is a real screen recording from galatic.ai. The narrator in the corner is me, in a way: my Galatic.ai voice clone, lip-synced onto a photo of me in one continuous take with Kling Avatar, the same lip-sync model we use for Gobi Da Nobi and Luna Rey.

Meet Orion

Orion is the assistant on the Galatic.ai home page. You don't pick models or wire up tools. You say what you want to make, whether that's a song, a video, a voiceover or a whole music video, and Orion asks the few questions it needs and does the rest.

The Orion home screen: "Welcome back. What do you want to create today?" above a prompt box and cards for Create Video, Create Music, Create Voiceover, AI Apps, Edit Image, Remix Studio, Analyze Video and Surprise me.

What broke on the way

It did not start pretty. On September 19, our first music video runs sat at "0 of 1 scenes complete." Auto Publish timed out before a post could finish. Template thumbnails came back 403. And one lip-sync pass painted a black smear right over our singer's mouth.

We kept every one of these screenshots, because they're the honest version of building in public.

Tutorial: turn a song into a lip-synced music video

Step 1. Sign in, open Flow Studio and tell Orion: "I want to make a music video." Pick your song, choose your performer's photo, and describe the look you want.

Step 2. Orion builds the whole pipeline for you. It reads your lyrics first, splits the song into scenes, directs each shot, generates the video and lip-syncs the performance. You see the plan before anything runs.

Orion's guided chat: "I want to make a music video," "I have a song ready," the song picked from the gallery, and a "Ready to go" plan with seven steps from Song to Save to Gallery.
Steps 1 and 2: tell Orion what you want, and it lays out the plan.
The music video pipeline as a node graph: Song, Segment Song, Direct Shots, Generate Video, Lip Sync, Compose Video and Save to Gallery.
Under the hood: the pipeline Orion builds. This graph is our internal view; in your account Orion shows the same steps as a plan.

Run it, then fix only what you want

Step 3. Hit run and watch the scenes come in. Orion tells you what it is doing at each stage.

Step 4. Open your video. Every scene sits on a timeline. If one shot isn't right, select it, tell Orion what to change ("she should be singing here") or just re-roll it, and only those scenes are redone. Everything else is reused.

Step 3: every scene, with the lyric it was directed from.
The scene timeline under the video with several scenes selected for a redo and a Regenerate button.
Step 4: pick the scenes to redo on the timeline.

The result

That's how Luna Rey's Dreams Come True came together: 27 scenes, real lip-sync, one song. Luna Rey is an AI artist; her voice, her face and every scene are AI-generated, and the video was made on Galatic.ai.

What's next

Orion is live now at galatic.ai, and Flow Studio is waiting in your account. Make something, break something, and tell me what you want next.
